Natalie Briney Artist

Tiffany Blue (homage to Audrey Hepburn)

2023

Acrylic on Canvas

Unframed

20.5 cm (W) x 25.5 cm (H) x 1.5cm (D)

Please note this canvas is only a single thickness and although it comes with a wire on the back and the sides are gallery finished, it would definitely look better framed. In the second 'in situ' photo here, I have added a frame to the painting so that you can see what it would look like.

'Actress Audrey Hepburn illuminated the big screen in such timeless films as "Roman Holiday" (1953), "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (1961) and "Wait Until Dark" (1967) . To this day, she is remembered for her talent, beauty, grace and unique style, however it is also her devotion to humanitarian work right up until she passed away in 1993, that I most admire about this amazing lady. There won’t be another like her again......

Fun Fact — the Asteroid 4238 Audrey is named after her.'

This heavily textured Abstract Portrait of Audrey, plays on a thick textured canvas base of moulding and crackle paste. It has layers of paper, spray paint, acrylic, pen, pencil and has been influenced by her role in the movie 'Funny Face'.

This original painting will NEVER be sold as a print, so you can enjoy the benefits of knowing that is a one off piece, especially for your home.

Signed on the back.

This piece is created on a 25mm frame wrapped canvas, sealed with fixative and a triple gloss coat, gallery finished edges and ready to hang.
