This heavily textured Abstract Floral Painting plays on a thick textured canvas base and has layers of moulding and crackle paste to add texture and depth. Inspired by the Anemone flower 'Grecian Windflower' I have used shades of bright orange on the inner petals and a lighter yellow/orange on the outer petal with flecks of fluorescent orange, dark red, black and a pop of fluroescent orange in the centre of the flower. The background is a dark grey , which really makes this piece pop!

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Natalie is a Western Australian Artist who lives and works South of Margaret River on her family's farm.

Her love of the colours of the bushland she is surrounded by, country living and the native fauna and flora inspire her works today.
