'Autumn Beauty' Abstract Sunflower plays on a thick textured canvas base and has layers of moulding and crackle paste to add texture and depth. Shades of dark and light orange form the base of the petals and a light green for the leaves and stem. The outer edge of the petals has mark making with a deep red, fluorescent yellow and blue acrylic paint, with touches of oil pastel and posca markers to give this piece an even more expressive and loose look. The background is a deep Phthalo Blue colour which really makes this piece pop!

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Natalie is a Western Australian Artist who lives and works South of Margaret River on her family's farm.

Her love of the colours of the bushland she is surrounded by, country living and the native fauna and flora inspire her works today.
