A little Update

Since the exhibition last year, I had quite a bit of time off over the Christmas/New Year period to rest my arm and grab the opportunity over the festive period, to have some down time.  But since the New Year, I've been back at it, getting work ready for the Margaret River Open Studio's coming up in April. FOMO Exhibition

Not sure where this year went, but two minutes ago, I had plenty of time to get 5 big paintings ready for my FOMO Exhibition. My Experience Showcasing with RAW Perth

On Thursday the 15th October, I had the absolute pleasure of showcasing some of my art work with RAW Perth at the Rosemount Hotel Northbridge and I am so glad that I did! My exhibition space was 1.5 m high x 1.8 m wide, but I was a bit lucky in that I was in a corner, so I had a bit of extra space on both sides of my wall. Opening Night Jitters

I have a love/hate relationship with Opening Nights.  Love them because - I get the jitters Hate them because - I get the jitters I know crazy right.  I get the sweats on, the tummy butterflies and the wobbly legs, just thinking about an opening night.  So Saturday night just gone - Easter Saturday - 4th April to be exact, was The Dunsborough Arts Society's 45th Art Exhibition Opening Night. Daughter of Winter

I must admit, when I think of the word "Seasons" I stereo-typically think of the Seasons of Nature - Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer. So when I saw that this was the theme for an exhibition being held in Margaret River (Western Australia) as part of the Readers and Writers Festival, I knew I wanted to paint a very ethereal/ghostly type girl, which would represent the Season - Winter.
