New Artwork - Serenity

When I was a child, the only pet I was ever allowed to have was a budgie. And how I got this budgie was actually a bit of a story. I was walking home from a friends house one day (I was about 10 or 11) and a green and yellow budgie came out of nowhere and landed on my shoulder. He stayed there the whole way home. I knew he was somebody's tame pet, so we put up posters, but nobody claimed him, so my family bought a cage and we kept him. He was very very tame and we would let him out inside and he would fly around the house. He was adorable and I loved him very much. I wanted to honour my first ever pet, but was just waiting for the 'right' time and the 'right' painting.

So, I wanted to honour my first ever pet (George), but was just waiting for the 'right' time and the 'right' painting.
